WikiDrive Terms of Service

Effective: 24 October 2026 · Posted: 2026-10-24

Note: the draft of these terms was written with AI (Claude). This English version is a reference translation; if it differs from the Korean text, the Korean text prevails.

Chapter 1 General provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the rights, duties and responsibilities of Donghyeok Kim (김동혁, the "Operator") and members, and other necessary matters, in using the WikiDrive service (the "Service") the Operator provides.

Article 2 (Definitions)

In these terms:

Article 3 (Posting and amending these terms)

(1) The Operator posts these terms on Service screens so that members can easily read them.

(2) The Operator may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law. It gives notice of an amendment on Service screens from 7 days before it applies (30 days before, for an amendment unfavourable to members), and also notifies members of an unfavourable amendment by e-mail under Article 4(1).

(3) A member who does not agree to amended terms may terminate the service agreement.

(4) On a member's request, the Operator sends these terms by e-mail or provides them on a printable screen.

Article 4 (Notices to members)

(1) A notice to an individual member is sent to the e-mail address the member signed up with.

(2) A notice to all members may be given instead by posting it on Service screens for at least 7 days. However, unfavourable changes to these terms and matters that significantly affect members' rights are also sent by e-mail.

Chapter 2 Service agreement

Article 5 (Making the agreement)

(1) The service agreement is made when a person aged 14 or over, signing up with a Google account or an e-mail sign-in code or creating an account by clicking "Allow" on a connected AI's approval screen, confirms on that screen as it asks that they are 14 or over and agrees to these terms. The Operator shows links to these terms and the privacy policy on that screen, and records the edition of these terms the member agreed to and when.

(2) The Operator may refuse, or later terminate, an application that uses another person's information or contains false information.

Article 6 (Termination and restrictions)

(1) A member may at any time terminate the agreement (delete the account) with "Delete account" in Settings, or ask for termination by e-mail (support@wikidrive.app). If the account deletion screen says the Operator's confirmation is needed, the member asks by e-mail.

(2) If a member breaches Article 10, the Operator may restrict use or terminate the agreement after telling the member the reason by e-mail and giving a period of at least 7 days to fix it or respond. However, where a breach of law or infringement of rights is clear and must be stopped urgently, the Operator may restrict use first and notify the member without delay.

(3) The member may download their content during the period in paragraph (2). A member restricted first under the proviso to paragraph (2) may ask the Operator to let them download content that does not breach the law or infringe rights.

(4) When a member deletes their account, their content is deleted under Article 4(4) of the privacy policy. The following, however, remain or cannot be recalled:

(5) A group the member owns is deleted with its content when the member deletes their account, and the other members can no longer see it. There is no separate way to delete a group itself.

Chapter 3 Using the Service

Article 7 (Providing and changing the Service)

(1) The Operator provides members, free of charge, with services such as storing, editing, searching and downloading content; change history and undo; sharing and groups; web publishing; AI connections and viewing usage records.

(2) The Service does not run AI models itself. When a member uses a connected AI, that service's terms and policies apply.

(3) To keep the Service stable, the Operator may set limits on storage, numbers of items and frequency of use.

(4) The Operator may change the Service or suspend part of it where there is good reason. If the change is unfavourable to members, it gives notice 7 days in advance (30 days for a major change). If notice cannot be given in advance, it gives notice without delay afterwards.

(5) If the Operator ends the whole Service, it gives notice at least 30 days before the end date and lets members download their content in the meantime.

Article 8 (AI connections and AI documents)

(1) An AI connection is made only when the member clicks "Allow" on the connected AI's approval screen. Within the approved permission (read, or read and write), the connected AI may read the member's prompts, documents and rules and the shared items the member accepted (except those for which the member turned AI use off), and, with write permission, may save rules and create, edit and undo prompts and documents.

(2) Automatic documents are on from the start. While they are on, a connected AI may, without the member asking, create documents from content summarised from the conversation or edit AI documents. A document the member wrote can be edited only when the AI marks the change as requested by the member. The member can turn automatic documents off in Settings; from then on the AI can create or edit documents only when it marks the change as requested by the member. The Operator cannot check whether the AI was actually asked.

(3) AI documents and rules an AI saved are output of the connected AI; the Operator did not write or review them. The member must check their accuracy and fitness. The member can edit, undo or delete AI documents.

(4) The member can stop a connected AI from saving anything new with "Pause saving in all AIs", "Pause saving" on a connection, or by disconnecting. While saving is paused, however, the AI can still load prompts and undo. Saying "don't record" in the Claude Code plugin is only an instruction to the AI; the Service does not block saving.

(5) Whether an external service supports connections, and how far, may depend on that service and the member's account. The Operator does not guarantee connection from every account, that a connected AI follows instructions, the accuracy of its answers, or any particular result.

Article 9 (Sharing and web publishing)

(1) A member may share content with other people or groups, or publish documents to the web. Sharing and publishing are the member's choice, and the member must check the recipients and content before sharing or publishing.

(2) Sharing a folder shares the items in it. People in the same shared item or group can see each other's names and e-mail addresses. Sharing a document or folder from My Drive makes a separate shared copy, and edits to the original reach the copy only when the member carries them over or has turned on "Share changes automatically". The shared copy stays even if the original is moved to the trash or deleted, so it must be deleted separately.

(3) A document published to the web can be viewed by anyone, including people not signed in, and also appears in the public list. Edits made after publishing appear only when the member publishes again; when publishing stops, the published copy is deleted at once. Copies others have already made cannot be recalled.

(4) When a member leaves a group, the content that member wrote in the group stays in the group.

(5) A member may use other members' content shared with them or published to the web in their own work, but may not sell or distribute it without the rights holder's permission.

(6) When a recipient accepts a share, "AI use" is turned on so that the recipient's connected AI can also read that content, and only the recipient can turn this off.

Article 10 (Members' duties)

(1) Members must not:

(2) Members should take care not to store passwords, keys, card or account numbers, unique identifiers such as resident registration numbers, or sensitive information in their content.

Chapter 4 Content

Article 11 (Rights in content and its use)

(1) Rights in content belong to the member who created it. An AI document, made by the member's connected AI in the member's work, is treated as that member's content as between the member and the Operator; rights in the output itself are governed by applicable law and that AI service's terms.

(2) The member permits the Operator to use content only as far as needed to provide the Service: storing and keeping it, showing it to the people and groups the member chose, passing it to the AIs the member connected and to the AIs connected by people the member shared with (unless that person turned AI use off), and posting documents the member published to the web. The Operator obtains the member's prior consent for any use beyond this.

(3) For content a member wrote in another member's group or shared folder, the permission in paragraph (2) continues after the member deletes their account, for as long as that space exists.

(4) The Operator does not sell members' content or use it for advertising or for training AI models. Whether an AI service the member connected uses the information it receives for training is, however, governed by that service's policies and the member's settings there.

Article 12 (Managing content)

(1) The Operator does not review content in advance before members store or publish it.

(2) A person whose rights, such as privacy or reputation, are infringed by content published to the web or shared may, by e-mail (support@wikidrive.app), show the infringement and ask for that content to be deleted or for a rebuttal to be posted. On receiving a request, the Operator takes necessary measures without delay, such as deleting the content or temporarily blocking access, informs the requester and the member who published or shared the content at once, and lets users know that the measure was taken.

(3) If it is hard to judge whether rights are infringed, or a dispute is expected, the Operator may temporarily block access to the content for up to 30 days. The member who published or shared the content may object, or ask for it to be published again, by e-mail.

(4) If content is found to fall under Article 10(1), the Operator may take necessary measures under applicable law, such as stopping publication.

Chapter 5 Liability and disputes

Article 13 (Limits of liability)

(1) The Operator is not liable, unless it acted intentionally or with gross negligence, for documents and rules made by connected AIs, content other members shared or published to the web, or the behaviour of external services the member connected.

(2) The Operator is not liable, unless it acted intentionally or with gross negligence, where it cannot provide the Service for reasons it cannot prevent, such as a processor's outage or natural disaster. Members are advised to keep a separate copy of important content with "Download everything" in Settings (it does not include attachments, the text of change history, or items shared with the member).

(3) This article does not limit the Operator's liability under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws.

Article 14 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes arising from use of the Service are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Article 15 (Contact)

Questions about the Service may be sent to the Operator, Donghyeok Kim (support@wikidrive.app).

Addendum

Article 1 (Effective date)

These terms take effect on 24 October 2026.

Article 2 (Members who signed up under the former terms)

For members who signed up under the former SEED Terms of Service before these terms took effect, these terms apply from the time the member agrees to them on a Service screen. The Operator asks for that agreement when the member next comes back to the Service, and a member who does not agree to these terms may terminate the agreement under Article 6.

Article 3 (Transitional measure for the former SEED service)

When the screens of the former SEED service (https://seed-methods.pages.dev) are used, the former SEED Terms of Service apply until that service is closed.
